1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Consciousness Hub platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you may not create an account.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to keep your account secure.

You may not create accounts using automated methods or create multiple accounts to abuse platform features.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on the platform (posts, journal entries, course materials). By posting content, you grant Consciousness Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content as part of operating the Service.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains spam, unsolicited promotions, or malware
• Impersonates another person or entity
• Violates the privacy of others

5. Community Standards

Consciousness Hub is a community dedicated to sincere exploration and personal growth. Members are expected to treat each other with respect and engage in good faith. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate our community standards.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid features require a subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods unless required by law.

7. Course Content & Intellectual Property

Course content created by educators on the platform remains the intellectual property of those creators. Platform features, design, and original content are owned by Consciousness Hub. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Consciousness Hub is a personal development platform - content on the platform is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. Always consult a qualified professional for health concerns.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Consciousness Hub shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, or if necessary, binding arbitration.
